And the role? As maternity cover and supporting the Media and Content Manager in delivering the PR and content strategy, the successful candidate will work on significant PR news and content output via multiple channels including the media, our website, our members’ magazine, and social media.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Work as part of Benenden Health’s press office to help raise our brand awareness and improve our reputation
  • Develop relevant and engaging content for our varied channels, improving brand engagement, driving traffic to our website and supporting wider marketing activity
  • Prepare and implement high profile campaigns, with a focus on content, that reaches a wide variety of relevant audiences – including working with external agencies and management of our award-winning members’ magazine, Be Healthy
  • Manage the Media and Content Consultant in the implementation of PR and content activity

The Person:

  • Educated to degree level, with minimum of A level standard English
  • Experience in a fast-paced PR/Communications environment, as well as acting as organisational spokesperson in an online environment
  • A confident communicator who can demonstrate their experience of online media in a professional environment
  • Highly organised with excellent copywriting ability

37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
